1 Corinthians 15:33
Paul's words can turn up in the most surprising places. In 1953, I was selected for a wireless(radio) course during my National Service. Amongst the instructions  on how  to send messages were these words, emphasizing the importance of good communication.
Messages have to be correct in the wireless world, but as I have found, this also applies to the way we project our faith in Jesus to others. Several things I learned about sending signals; who is sending the message, where are they located, what are their needs and what is the real object of the signal?
  1.  Who are you- where are you?
With the aid of codes, etc., the signalling unit has to know where its members are and who it is that's transmitting. It seems to me that in the Church we have a message to proclaim to the community and to the world. It is important, therefore, to know who is on our side, so to speak. Is it just a case of being baptized, or are you selected to represent Jesus the Saviour to your family, your work and your world?

Where are you? It is important that members of Christ stick or witness together! Sincere Christian fellowship is vital for the life of the Church. Think of the Twelve Disciples, the helpers Paul mentions in 1 Corinthians. You and I together are vital for communicating our Saviour to others.
  1.  Needs for the Messengers!
Prayer groups, bible studies the , ACW.,etc.,are always needed for the spreading of the Gospel. Paul also found that helping the poorer parts of the Church, especially in Judea, was  a way to galvanize the members into positive action. Therefore, we also, are called to promote mission work locally and around the world.
  1. Signals for the Saviour!
Paul preaches Jesus the Son of God, risen from the dead, alive through the Holy Spirit and found in the hearts of believers. We know this - now let us send clear messages to our world, our time and our people.
But you say, "How?" Paul said avoid bad signals, poor communication because we are opposed by strong negative forces in this world. Speak up, then, for the Saviour of the world, who is the Light of the world, the Word made flesh and trust your faith in Him.
