Our Media & Technology Ministry helps us share the life and ministry of our church beyond our four walls. Through sound, video, technology, and digital communication, we work to make worship and church activities accessible to those who are unable to attend in person, while also helping our wider community stay connected with what is happening at the church.
The ministry includes managing the sound equipment used for music, readings, preaching, and voices during worship; operating the cameras and livestream equipment for our Sunday services, which are livestreamed each week and broadcast through Cogeco; and maintaining the computer and technical equipment needed for livestreaming and recording.
Our ministry of communication also extends to our Facebook page and church website, helping us share news, events, worship opportunities, and ways to connect with our community. Our church newsletter provides another way to stay connected, featuring upcoming events and happenings, church updates, prayers, and other information from our church family.
At its heart, Media & Technology is about using the tools available to us to connect people, share the Good News, and extend our church community beyond the walls of our building.
